Mr. Ar Rm Arun, Chairman, Valingro Group has been elected as Vice President of the Southern , Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), during SICCI’s 106th AGM held on Sep 23, 2016 at Chennai. Mr. Arun has been on the Executive Committee of SICCI for over 14 years, since Apr 2002.

During his tenure as Executive Committee Member, Mr. Arun has contributed significantly to SICCI, conducting numerous Seminars, Events & Panel Discussions. These programs encompassed the Technology Panel that was formed under Mr. Arun’s leadership. Notable among these programs was “iSec”, an Information Security Tradeshow Exhibition conceived by Mr. Arun, that had several Technology Seminars, Panel Discussions & Exhibits bringing together Industry, Government, Consumers & Academia. Other events conducted by the Technology Panel under Mr. Arun’s guidance includes Legal issues in Cyber Crime, Panel Discussion on IT Hardware - unleashing ,’s manufacturing and in conjunction with , Semiconductor Association a Panel Discussion on Semicon & Electronics Hardware highlighting Tamil Nadu’s & ,’s strengths to a visiting Taiwan delegation.
