Mr. Ar Rm Arun, Chairman, Valingro Exponenta Limited has been recently appointed by the Government of the State of Tamil Nadu to be on the State Planning Commission's Steering Committee for Industries & Minerals. The objective of this appointment is to formulate the 12th 5-year Plan for Tamil Nadu State.

This appointment is concentrated on improving Industries & Minerals development within Tamil Nadu and is considering Mr. Arun's knowledge of basic issues within this sector. Other members of the Steering Committee include Secretaries (senior IAS Officers) to the Government of Tamil Nadu, Directors of Government Bodies promoting Industry, Commissioners of Industry Regulators, Industry Captains and Industry Association Leaders.
